James R. Fleckenstein, BA (Owner) is a sexologist, researcher, educator, and coach with over a decade of experience helping people improve their intimate relationships. His insights led him to create the Affirmative Intimacy TM approach to building sustainable and healthy relationships.
Jim’s expertise has been recognized by his selection to present at ten major therapy and counseling professional conferences since 2002. He was an invited contributor to the US chapter of the Complete International Encyclopedia of Sexuality, and has appeared on TV, radio, and in the pages of the Chicago Tribune and the Guardian (UK). He recently was lead author on a major research paper published in the peer-reviewed journal Sexual and Relationship Therapy. This contribution became a chapter in an academic book, Sexuality and Ageing, published by Routledge.
Carol M. Morotti-Meeker, MS, MLSP (Senior Coach) is a counselor and therapist in private practice in the Greater Philadelphia area. She has more than 25 years’ experience helping individuals and families. Her specialties are alternative and multi-generational families. Carol has been a reviewer for The Family Coordinator journal. She has presented a number of papers to professional counseling organizations and community groups around the US.
Carol holds a master’s degree from Iowa State University in Family Relations and a second master’s from the Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research.
